Embark on a captivating 7-day, 6-night Kerala tour package that takes you through the serene landscapes of Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Cochin. Begin your journey amidst the lush green tea plantations of Munnar, then explore the rich biodiversity of Thekkady's Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Relax on a houseboat as it glides through the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey, and conclude your trip with a visit to the vibrant city of Cochin, where historical sights like the Chinese fishing nets blend seamlessly with bustling markets. This tour combines natural beauty, wildlife adventures, and cultural experiences, ensuring a memorable journey through the heart of Kerala.

  • Day 1- Cochin to Munnar via Spice Garden (Duration: 6 hours)

    Upon your arrival at Kochi (Cochin), you'll be greeted by our representative (Driver) at the Airport/Railway station. From there, we'll head towards Munnar. En route, we'll explore the majestic Cheeyappara waterfalls, Valara waterfalls, Tea plantations, and the charming Village Spice Garden. Please note that all sightseeing stops are feasible if your arrival is before 12:00 Noon. By evening, we'll reach Munnar. We advise returning to the hotel by 6 pm as mist and fog typically descend after this time. Once back, check-in at your Munnar Hotel/Resort for an overnight stay.

  • Day 2- Continuation of Munnar Exploration on Day 2 (Duration: 8 hours)

    After a delightful breakfast, we'll resume our Munnar sightseeing adventure. Our itinerary includes visits to the Tea Museum, Tea Factory, Blossom Hydel Park, Flower Garden, Photo Point, Mattupetty Dam, and Kundala Dam (boating charges apply directly), and Eco Point. By 6 pm, we'll return to the hotel, covering all points based on time availability and traffic. Enjoy another overnight stay at your Munnar Hotel/Resort.

    • Day 3-Munnar to Thekkady (Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes)

    After a refreshing breakfast, check-out from your Munnar hotel and proceed to Thekkady. In Thekkady, enjoy boating on the Periyar River (last boating time is 3 pm), where you might see wild elephants, boar, deer, and the Mullaperiyar Dam. Optional activities (pay directly) include Martial Arts, Kathakali Dance, Elephant Safari, Jeep Safari, and Oil Massage. In the evening, check-in at your Thekkady Hotel/Resort for an overnight stay.

    Day 4-Thekkady to kovalam Via Trivandrum Sightseeing (Duration: 6 hours 30 minutes)

    After enjoying a refreshing breakfast, check out from Alleppey and head towards Kovalam, adjusting the departure time according to your schedule. En route, you will visit several sightseeing points in Trivandrum (note that these sites are closed on Mondays and open from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM), including the Napier Museum, Zoological Park, Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Kanakakunnu Palace, Planetarium, and Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. This Hindu temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, gained global attention when vast treasures were discovered in its vaults, making it the richest temple in the world. In the evening, continue your journey to Kovalam. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, freshen up, and enjoy the beautiful Kovalam beach. Overnight stay will be at your Kovalam hotel or resort. Note that Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple has a strict dress code: men must wear a dhoti with or without an angavastra, and women must wear sarees, dhoties, or pavadas with appropriate coverings. Modern dresses like salwar sets are not allowed, and young girls under 12 may wear gowns. Additionally, umbrellas, slippers, cameras, mobile phones, and electronic equipment are not permitted inside the temple. If you do not have the appropriate attire, it can be purchased in front of the temple.

    Day 5-Continue Kovalam-Poovar Island Sightseeing (07:00hrs) (Duration: 6 hours 00 minutes)

    After breakfast, head to Poovar Island for sightseeing. Poovar is a natural wonder where the lake, river, sea, and beach converge. Surrounded by serene backwaters and opening to the sea with a picturesque golden sand beach, Poovar offers a unique experience. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery and various attractions for two hours on a Kerala-style motorboat (pay directly) and an elephant ride (pay directly). After the excursion, return to your hotel or resort for a comfortable overnight stay in Kovalam.

    Day 6- Kovalam to Alleppey Houseboat (Duration: 6 hours)

    Start your day with an early morning check-out from Thekkady between 7:00 and 8:00 am, and then proceed to Alleppey for an unforgettable houseboat experience. As you cruise along the palm-fringed waterways of Kerala in an exclusive houseboat, you'll encounter breathtaking views and unique sights. Glide past ancient Chinese fishing nets, vibrant water lilies, lush paddy fields, traditional coir villages, rustic homes, historic temples, and coconut groves. This journey will offer fascinating insights into the daily lives of the local villagers, providing a unique and memorable perspective on Kerala’s culture. From 12:00 noon, enjoy 21 hours of tranquil cruising in a Kerala-style houseboat, complete with welcome drinks, tea, snacks, mineral water, and meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Spend the night onboard, surrounded by the serene beauty of the backwaters. You can choose from Deluxe, Premium, or Luxury houseboats according to your preference and budget. To fully enjoy the cruise, ensure you arrive before 12:00 noon.

    Day 7- Cochin Drop (Duration: 1 hour)

    After a delightful breakfast, check out from your Cochin hotel and proceed to your drop-off point. You'll be taken to Cochin Airport or Railway Station for your departure. Head back to your hometown, carrying with you the wonderful memories of your Kerala tour with Le Lagoon Holidays.

    ✔3. Above mentioned accommodation includes breakfast. The first Breakfast which is included in your Package starts only on the second day of the package irrespective of your Arrival Date and your Arrival Time. This is the Universal Hotel Policy.

If Houseboat is included in your package its exclusively for your family with all meals which includes Welcome Drink, Snacks, Tea, Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast, Mineral water etc. All the Houseboats are look alike. As per your budget we provide the houseboat, Either Deluxe or Premium or Luxury. Houseboat check-in at 12:00pm noon and checkout at 9 am. Boat will be anchored 05.00pm to 06:00am. For Deluxe A/c Houseboat- A/c will be operating between 9pm and 6am. For Premium A/c Houseboat- A/c will be operating Full time in bedroom only. For Luxury A/c Houseboat- A/c will be operating Full Board (Bedroom, Living area).

In some hotels/resorts you will be finding A/C Rooms . Munnar, you will not be needed of Air Conditioned rooms as the climate is so cold. If you require Air conditioned rooms in other places like Thekkady or Vagamon, kindly inform your tour operator in advance. (Price may vary)
